Best Western Hotel Grand is situated in the middle of a royal town Beroun, which is naturally a point of contact for whole region. Beroun carries relatively considerable traces of more than 700 years of existence. Its historical value was the reason for a declaration of its old town centre as a registered and protected area. Beroun and its neighborhood belong without any doubts to the most significant regions in our country.

The hotel restaurant serves a wide selection of local and international dishes and drinks.

A rich buffet breakfast is served daily from 07:00 until 10:00. The hotel pub is open daily from 10:00 until 22:00, serving local specialities as well as the famous, Bohemian Pilsner Urquell.

Room information

The hotel's rooms have been recently renovated and are spread across four floors. Each floor is decorated differently: the first floor is green, the second floor is yellow, the third floor is red and fourth floor is blue.
All rooms are spacious and have key card access.

Area information

The area is well known for its rich history and number of world renowned historical monuments. One of the highlights is Karlstejn Castle that was built in the 15th century by the Czech King and Roman Emperor Karel IV. Many other medieval castles eg. Krivoklat, Zebrak and Tocnik are worth visiting. There is a famous stalactite cave, Koneprusy, that is breathtaking. Close by is a famous glass factory, Rueckel.

Travel information

Arrival on from the D5 (E50) motorway:
- Exit at exit 18 towards Beroun and Koneprusy.
- Upon arrival in Beroun turn left into Husova towards Beroun-Centrum.
- Continue along Husova. Turn right at 605/Plzenska and continue along until you come to 605/Namesti M.Postove.

Arrival from Prague Airport:
You can take a taxi from Prague International Airport for roughly CZK 500 (EUR 25).

Take bus number 100 to Zlicin and take the bus towards Beroun.
