Staying here was such a special place. The host is so kind and welcoming, and you so quickly feel like you’re at home. The rooms are comfortable, and have everything you need. Not only are the homes they’re restoring beautiful, but they’re filled with so much character and so well decorated. I can’t recommend coming and staying here highly enough, where we feel like we have a family now.

We like everything at this guest house. Rie, the owner is the best! She is friendly, providing best service, warm-welcomed, helpful and provide us tons of good information and recommendations. She also helps us with Universal Adapter and reserving Izakaya Restaurant. The room is comfy and the place is located in tiny town which is really lovely.

The owner thought if everything to make a stay comfortable. Cottage is fitted with all one’s needs to be self sufficient and cook for one self. Good heating and hot water. Everything was perfect.

Elegant simplicity. Spiritual essence near a famous shrine. Rural. Well-run and maintained woodwork and art. Lovely breakfast. Appreciated dinner recommendation at Yumeya in nearby town.

Everything was good quality… down to the tea towels. The old store room was well converted with double glazed windows and thoughtful features.
The communication with the owner was excellent. We were a little late arriving but the owner met us to show us around.
We loved sitting outside looking at the night sky and stars in the evening. The shower was fabulous and the beds were comfy and warm.
