Highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed. We had dinner and drinks at Si Mangia, a nearby pizzeria and pasticceria, the food was excellent and the locals were friendly and welcoming, well worth visiting while staying.

I walked and took trains. The train schedule is a little odd during public holidays and best take a train to Prato first then take direct train for Firenze. The I Gigli shopping mall next door to the hotel is divine, food is great, and an All'antico Vinaio as well with very little queue.
