We stayed for a night on a trip along the Great Green Way. The Model rooms are right next to the pub and you've got access to a nice pool. It was very convenient to just walk 10m for dinner at the pub. The room is fitted was the necessary dinnerware to eat up something for breakfast for example. The beds were comfortable and the check-in was very easy at the Bottle-o next door. It was calm and quite at night.

Nightcap at Marine Hotel Cardwell is located in Cardwell, a 13-minute walk from Cardwell Beach. With free WiFi, this 3-star hotel has a restaurant and a bar. Attached to a pub, these motel rooms are newly refurbished, tasteful and comfortable. We appreciated little touches like the USB charging ports in the sockets by the beds and the very warm welcome. The traditional Aussie pub up front was so friendly, and the bistro (grab a table overlooking the road and the sea) food was excellent - we had the Thai salad. Cardwell is a small place, but quite pleasant. I would say Nightcap at the Marine Hotel represents excellent value for money.
