very pretty town great harbour plenty of boats restaurants everywhere never had a bad meal plenty of bars around harbour and a few tucked away in the side streets which are the best beware the day trips to skopelos can get very packed skiathos has many great beaches which can be reached by bus all within 40 minutes but these also can get packed out music wise the boats and harbour bars play far too much abba/mama mia music but i suppose thats what made the island famousGuest review bymichaelUnited Kingdom - 10.0

This is a spacious and well thought out property . Gorgeous interior and everything thought about from the use of space , seating area/breakfast bar and kitchen with a really large balcony. The bed is very big and extremely comfortable, if I had one criticism it would be that I could hear our neighbours shower or use of their hairdryer but this was only something minor. Excellent property and value for money in a beautiful location , 10 min walk into Skiathos town but if you don’t fancy the walk some beautiful tavernas on your doorstop , would 100% stay again and recommend.Guest review byLisaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

This is an excellent hotel, where we have stayed overnight on a number of occasions. It gives terrific value: superb location, great food, comfortable rooms at a very good price. Achladies is a great place to stay.
Achladies is a great place to stay. The beach is sandy and the sea warm and clear. Plenty of sunbeds. The Mojo bar is great for breakfast, lunch and drinks. Friendly and attentive staff. Water taxi is a great way to travel to and from Skiáthos town. Quick and reliable. Also enjoyed the nearby restaurants. Great food and friendly staff. Like all Skiathos, the hotels are not very close to the water. As most of the hotels are situated up on the mountain the view is absolutely fantastic. The most beautiful view is from Skiathos Club Resort (hotel). Good food is to be found at Azzuro Terrace and of course, at Paradise Hotel (Anastasia Restaurant) A car is reccomended there... Achladies beach is lovely sandy beach with a couple of bars and eateries, the octopus which has fav food and Mojo which is a local bar with food. There are sunbeds and you can get a water taxi to skiathos town and back every half hour. There is also a supermarket nearby and a bakery. So much to see and do.
So much to see and do. Boat trips , bars, restaurants, shops, ferries etc. One bus stop from airport at 3 euros cost! Maybe not for you if you want to be on the beach every day though we did the water taxi to Tsougrias beach one day and the bus to vrommonilos beach another day.Guest review byNormaUnited Kingdom
