Location is great, very close to Umeå, yet already quite wild with immediate access to the river and the forest with several Nordic ski trails. The house is tiny but comfy with all you need for a short stay. The landlord lives in the house next to it, very friendly.

Set in a former medical officer’s villa, this central Umeå hotel is 328 feet from the Ume River. Sauna, relaxation area and WiFi access are free, as is a light evening buffet. We like to stay in places that are very comfortable - like our home. Being in a foreign city we appreciated that all the meals were included and the quality of the food was very good - saved us looking for ages for somewhere to eat as we are not the most decisive people! Your staff were very friendly and 'can do' people. It makes such a difference.

Wow, I was just passing Umea and needed a stay for one night. At the Mimer I found a perfect place to stay, actually I already plan to go back. Very friendly staff, clean room with comfy bed, exceptional breakfast buffet. I felt welcomed and was sad to leave after just one night.
