Placed only a short distance from Oakland International Airport and close to area attractions, this hotel offers completely non-smoking guestrooms and many free amenities. I had the best two nights' sleep that I've ever had in a hotel. I'm sensitive to noise yet for some reason I always expect to sleep well in a hotel, then I remember when I get there that it's never possible because of other guests always making noise in their rooms, creaky floors, doors slamming or noisy conversations in the hallways. I chose this hotel as it's near the airport ($15 Lyft ride away) and although you'd expect noise from planes, I didn't (not that I'd mind that). The staff were pleasant and the place was clean. My room was apparently surrounded by pilots who "go out like a light". If you stay there, be mindful that if you keep your neighbours awake, they may be flying the plane you're on the next day.

SpringHill Suites by Marriott Oakland Airport is located in Oakland, 3.4 km from Oakland Coliseum and 11 km from Oakland Museum of California. This 3-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk. The room was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was as well. Having a pool, bar, and a grill was also a nice touch (even if the pool is on the ground floor). Great airport shuttle and exceptional breakfast.

The service from Issa, was the best we have experienced in a long time. We had a terrible experience with another hotel same evening, so we made the booking and thirty minutes after, Issa assured us that we would have a great stay. everything from organizing the shuttle from the Drop at car-rental to next mornings shuttle pickup for the airport, worked to perfection. Even the guy, standing in the restaurant/bar was so polite and with a great enthusiasm, asked about how our day was and explained about the food and drinks he offered. If you want to have a good experience, for an early flight departure next day. Don’t consider booking Marriot. just so it.
