Originally located in Galdakao until the end of 1969, then in 2005 the building was moved to its present location when the new motorway Bilbao-Behobia was laid out, in an impressive and arduous effort of cataloguing and preserving all its artistic elements.

Our cafe has 2 different ambiances, an indoor and elegant area and an outdoor, relaxing space. Both are ideal for tea and coffee parties at any time of the day.

L'hotel è davvero bellissimo, arredato con eleganza e completamente immerso nel verde dei campi da golf. Le stanze sono molto spaziose, silenziose e pulite. La colazione seppur di buona qualità, è forse un pò troppo costosa e non molto varia. |

We found the hotel to be in an ideal location for its proximity to Bilbao Airport. THe room was very spacious and comfortable on a very cold night - outdoors. As our departure time was early it meant that we could get maximum sleep before departing. Due to weather at Madrid Airport our flights were cancelled and we were rebooked by Iberia to travel 24 hours later. The hotel were most accomodating in respect of us needing to stay an extra night. I feel that the hotel should arrange for a Continental Breakfast service to ones room as Breakfast - if required - as Breakfast is not served before 7 am. The service could be provided by the Night Porter. |

The most fantastic hotel within a few miles of an airport I've ever stayed in. Elegant hillside palace with amazing views only 10 minutes drive from Bilbao airport. Elegant, refined, superb service and exquisite food. We stayed as a pit stop due to a late flight but will gladly go back for a few days relaxation. Great value for money. 10 out of 10. Nothing, it was fantastic. |

eat and sleep I arrive in a rental car on a rainy day. From the parking place for guests to the hotel is a long and uphill walk. I enquiered about the empty parking spaces closer to the entrance and was told they are reserved for employees only!. It should be the other way around. |

Very pleased with the hotel; stayed in a family room which was massive and had a spa bath which was wonderful. Spacious, clean, lovely touches in the bathroom - toiletries, big fluffy towels, robes. Hotel was easy to find and the food in the bar in the evening was excellent and reasonably priced. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone. |

Very grand family room with loads of space for all 5 of us (1 in a cot) - very nicely decorated and lovely big bathroom. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were very nice. A good place for a one night stop before getting on the Bibao - Portsmouth ferry. Staff very friendly and helpful and all spoke good english. Quite tricky to find - they need better directions on their website. Indoor pool was freezing!!! |

The Family Room at Palacio was very spacious and very comfortable. Although set in the countryside the hotel is only 10 mins from the airport and same from Bilbao. Wi Fi was available and free. Breakfast although very nice was a little limited in choice. |

Excellent stop over on the way to Bilbao ferry - only 20 mins drive. The room was fabulous, real luxury! Fabulous balcony with view over local countryside. Restaurant was not open on the night we stayed, (wednesday) and all that was available was a selection of bar snacks. We were not aware of anywhere else locally to eat. (Perhaps the consierge could advise, if we had asked) Breakfast was very good. |
