The location is ok: 20 min walk to the beach, 5 min by scooter. Though the beach on this side seems to often be agitated and there weren't any swimmer. I would recommend to go to Houhai to swim by scooter or taxi (~15 min drive). There are e-bikes that you can rent by the main entrance which is very convenient and fairly cheap. The facilities are quite new and rooms are comfortable. The staff were quite nice though they don't seem to speak any English. Overall great deal for this price.
