What a fantastic stay!!! Kiki, Katarina, and their mum are all absolutely lovely. Kiki helped arrange a taxi for me from near the port as it was very late, I needed food, and the taxis were all charging different rates, etc. She greeted me and helped me to my room (which she upgraded!). Then Kiki made sure I knew where everything was in and near the accommodation. The next morning, I met her mother, and though she didn't speak much English, she helped me over the border wall with a wee step ladder and guided me to the beach, supermarket, and pool (the Plaza Beach Hotel- they'll let you use the pool if you order something at the bar and they let me use the gym for free!). Later, I met Katarina, Kiki's sister, and she gave me some recommendations during my stay before giving me a lift to the bus stop. Mama was so kind as to service my room above and beyond! She made traditional baked goods, which she left for me daily (though Katarina delivered on my departure 😄🥰). She even washed and hung my laundry while I was out for the day 🥹🙏💙 The whole family made me feel right at home. They were so very kind and accommodating. All of them went above and beyond expectations, and I can't thank you enough for your hospitality and for such a lovely stay! The accommodation itself is tastefully designed and very comfortable 👌 The shower is amazing 😍 Rainfall & removable 😁 The bed, super comfy 😴 The kitchenette is basic but has all the essentials. There are 2 balconies so you can always have sun or shade 😎 The location is unbeatable! 3 min walk to the beach, mini Market, pool, cafes, gym, bus stop, etc. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for your stay in Plaka!!!

Elena, The manager of Valena Mare is a thoughtful, kind, hard working professional who goes out of her way to please and delight her guests in every way possible. The breakfast feast is extraordinarily delicious and generous.The bed was so comfortable and the suite so homey. The on site pool is so lovely with its gentle shallow part and the wavy part. Surrounded by beautiful plants and trees , the hotel is perfect but one has also the magical option of spending marvelous moments on fabulous plaka beach.

We stayed 2 nights in Blue Harmony. Excellent location by the less crowded part of Plaka beach, a few minutes walk to a small supermarket and bus station to Naxos town. Also, many beach restaurants nearby. We really enjoyed the local breakfast served on the terrace and authentic hospitality from beginning to end. Will recommend!

Nasos is an amazing host, always looking after you and he provides great tips and useful information about Naxos. If you’re looking for the perfect getaway and the most relaxing time do not hesitate to book a room at Acti Plaka. P.S. I really miss the cats, they were lovely.
