Awe-inspiring. After some research, it seemed like this area is not bad to explore the eastern Dolomites. But I wasn't expecting the village to be this beautiful. The drive from the village to the main road is probably the best sight I have ever seen. The rooms were big, with great views (make sure to specify to request the front side to get a better valley view). Parking can be a little tight.

The accommodation is clean except for dog hairs; unfortunately, there were also hairs in the washing machine. Warm welcome and introduction to the property. After that, the owners respect guests' privacy. If you need something, they leave it outside your door. The house is located in a quiet area, surrounded by animals that are occasionally noticeable. Based on our long-term travel experiences, this accommodation definitely belongs to the fantastic category. We deduct points only for some things we didn't like, but overall, it was nice.

We definitely recomment the accomodation in Gassteigerhof. Everything was super clean in the appartment. We rented both the appartments and both were really good. Well equipped and warm in winter. The area is peaceful. The family of the owners is really friendly. they gave us hints for trips and recommendations in the area. For the kids it was safe and in the garden there is a playgroud.which in sommer could be also a good option.
