The host was very welcoming and accommodating for English speakers! We stayed in Kawazu for the cherry blossom season, and the location was very affordable and an easy walking distance from the main town. It was very nice to be in an extremely quiet town to get a good night's rest and experience living in a traditional Japanese home for a bit too!

The stay was very smooth and went as expected overall. Everything was as described and the host was very responsive to our questions beforehand. The villa itself was amazing! Our family went with a group of friends and had children with us and everyone had a great time. What's great is that all of the rooms have locks as well, so even with a large group everyone had their own space. Beds were large and comfy. Enough bathrooms to go around. The kitchen was very well equipped, it came with utensil essentials and a large supply of glasses and plates. The view outside is absolutely breathtaking! If you do end up staying around fall/winter, I would recommend checking in at the earliest check-in time to enjoy the view while it's still light out. I would definitely return when I have a chance!
