Set in West Down, 32 km from Lundy Island, Trimstone Manor Hotel offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Among the various facilities of this property are a terrace, a bar and a tennis court. The hotel features an indoor pool and free WiFi.

We loved this manor the staff were so friendly and kind . Like stepping back in time great history to the place too. The collection of rescued bird life was a treat to behold from peacocks emus turkey and many more. If u want modern then this is not for u and because of its location your own transport is a must if u want to venture further afield and recommended as local transport can be expensive. Transport especially needed as there is no meals in the evening and getting food in from takeaways almost impossible as too far. But we managed and had no regrets . The pool was a bonus. LOVED IT

Hidden from the road in its own valley behind a band of tall trees, the location makes it a great base from which to explore the vast sandy beaches of North Devon's golden coast or the wonders of Exmoor. The attractive, tranquil grounds surround the hotel’s car park, which is free for guests.

Donna and Paul are exceptional hosts. Their service and attention to details were gold standard. They have both been through a trying period of their lives yet their concern for our comfort and enjoyment of the property and facilities were without fault. We can recommend to anyone considering staying at Score Valley Country House to book without hesitation. The property is located in a picture perfect valley and has more than enough parking to accommodate guests.

Service was welcoming and warm from arrival to departure. Great location (you will need a car) to access the coastal areas. Super comfy bedroom, massive bed, great shower, complementary tea, coffee and snacks. Great food available in a locally atmospheric bar, live music drew a very friendly crowd of locals. We will definitely return..

Lovely clean & spacious property that is well situated for short drives to the various beaches around. Great to see the sea from the living room window & from the veranda! The owner was quick to get back to me regarding a few questions I had before we stayed here & was very helpful. Looking forward to returning again soon!

Surf Lodge was great! Just back from a week long family holiday. Plenty of space for the 6 us. Loved that it had space for surfboards and wet suits. Hosts are quick to respond, should you require anything. The lodge is close to amenities and beaches. We had looked online to extend our break, but unfortunately, it was booked up. We would definitely recommend a stay here

Easy to get to, spotless site, quiet despite being fairly close to the road. Perfect location for our requirements. Kitchen was well-equipped and the shower was quite powerful. TV has a sound bar, which was handy given that Glasto was on!

Everything! Excellent hearty breakfast and evening menu - we booked dinner for one night and extended to two it was that good. Excellent choice of local real and craft ales (no Tribute or Doombar!). The room was a nice size, very comfortable and welcoming with a modern en-suite bathroom. All the staff were very friendly and knowledgable, and despite Covid preventative measures we were made to feel like special guests. With a great location for beaches and Coast path walking this will be an establishment we will return to.
