Very clear and easy self check-in instructions provided; looked exactly the same as what we saw online; much thought and care was put into the design and furnishings of the room; high quality hand soap, body wash and shampoo provided; stair lights (for first 2 flights of stairs) came on automatically when we opened the gate; can open the window in the bathroom; heated towel rack; has shower and a large bathtub; beautiful view of the water and mountains from windows in sleeping room; very quiet area; easy to use the bus system - bus stops nearby

We felt very welcome. Jenny and Peter are very nice and warm people. They helped us with recommendations for restaurants and booked us a cab for the airport. A very good location in Oriental Bay close to the beach. A beautiful room, clean and a very comfortable bed. We would definitely recommend this, one of our best stays in New Zealand.
