Me and my girlfriend went in Genk for the Duystere Markt, and i found this B&B and we didn't know but we found a small treasure. Eveline, the owner, was there outside under the rain waiting for us, she welcomed us in the warmest way we ever experienced, the room and the bathroom are really big, warm and cozy with the industrial style, which reflect actually the story of the area, even better than more of 5 star luxury hotels, i ever be, Eveline is super gentle and very very supportive like if she knew us from long time, the breakfast was amazing somenthing so abbundant that my girlfriend skip the lunch! fresh made and cooked alla minute, so delicious!!!! the only bad aspect of our stay was....we only had one night there! Higly recomended!!!!!

The hotel is in a quiet, secluded location and is so peaceful. It is set back from an already very quiet road and backs onto a nature reserve. I've never slept so well away from home before. My host, Paula was amazing as well. She messaged me on the day I was due to arrive and provided me with all the information I needed for my stay that I couldn't find online. She couldn't have been any nicer or any more helpful, picking me up when I couldn't get a taxi and dropping me off in town twice to save me getting the bus. Easily the best experience I have ever had staying away from home and I would recommend to anyone travelling to Genk, or indeed anyone who just needs a break from the rat race!

The hosts Stephan & Etha were excellent, extremely helpful throughout our stay. The apartment was fantastic, very tastefully furnished throughout, immaculately clean and was superbly equipped with everything that you could imagine, fantastic location with a good range of eateries within easy walking distance We would not hesitate to book again should we return to the Genk arear.
