The room was comfortable and clean. The shower worked well (in view of a sign on the wall that sometimes hot water took long, it worked quickly) ; plumbing very well, with one of those space-age toilets you only read about. Elevators quiet, in fact the whole hotel was very quiet in view of the large number of people we saw in the morning. So excellent for a layover, it solidly beats sleeping at the airport terminal. Food in restaurant was excellent.

Even though the hotel is not in the city centre, we still loved its location! It is in a quiet neighbourhood in an old industrial factory building, which adds a very nice flair. It is also very close to the river, where you can walk along the river bank with great views and reach the centre in about 45 minutes. Otherwise there is also good public transport accessible from the hotel. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

The location was very convenient and the staff were extremely helpful. It was quiet, comfortable and there was an excellent breakfast. Lovely, slightly old fashioned decor in keeping with its proximity to the art deco Paramount building just down the road. Also just across the road from the beautiful Jing'an temple.
