This is the perfect place to stay!!! The hosts were kind and welcoming the chalet was super clean and comfortable it had good Wi-Fi my room was huge and the location was brilliant for both les deux alpes / d’Huez ski resorts and the price was incredibly reasonable, I look forward to staying here again.

L’Aurienchon is a fantastic place! We stayed here for two nights with our three sons (16,13,11) and loved it! Three main reasons to stay; 1) the amazing hospitality of Beatrice & Eric and especially Beatrice her cooking! 2) the relaxation space or “man cave” on the top floor with sofas, darts, pooltable, tv, wifi etc 3) the view & location. The view from the balconies is one of a kind and the Gite is a great starting point for Alpe d’Huez, La Grave, La Deux Alpes and loads of outdoor sports. If you’re with a family, try and book the “La Meije” room.
