Breakfast is not to be missed. Eric and Nathalie work together to present an exceptional breakfast- while introducing us to a special treat of French baking each morning ; as well as fruit baguette and pastries; eggs; Homemade jams and local cheese and charcuterie. Eric cures local trout; makes prosciutto with duck breast and plat du jour can be arranged for dinner. The gardens are beautiful and the pool and sun terrace overlooks a the grounds with trees and fruit trees and then the woods behind.( the deer who sometimes eat the roses are not welcome)The farm house has bee meticulously restored and the decor is very restful and pleasing. The delicious food and wine, the beautiful ancient building and relaxing nature around it. Friendly staff with great advice. Our canoe ride on the Dordogne was perfect thanks to their guidance. Hoping to return.

the warm welcome of the owner, who is a really pleasant and likeable woman. Thank you for the kindness of accommodation, the funny and helpful way of giving tips for planning the days in the area. The rooms are clear, the breakfast tasty and it's possible to eat together with the guests, if you want. This all give a personal and familiar feeling and an environment in which you feel very comfortable. I wish you all the best and very many thanks for all! When I should be in this area again, I would really love to come again!

What a delight this was! Our hosts were simply marvelous and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was beautifully designed and decorated and led directly to the dining lounge area. It was clear that a lot of thought had been given to the architecture of the building. The evening meal was superb and started with a lovely cocktail. It was like being in a Michelin star restaurant. Although we had to leave early the following morning so couldn't have a proper breakfast we were given some beautiful pastries to take with us for our journey. It was clear that our hosts took great pride in everything they did and the conversation over dinner was very entertaining. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this accommodation to anyone visiting the region.

This place is so so calm…..it is located at the end of the road….behind there are acres after acres of walnut trees. It is an old farm…..we just loved it and probably will go back in the future. The hostess Denise is the nicest person you can ever have. She is very attentive at your needs. She has the best homemade jams. She has lived in this area her all life and she knows shops around or places to go.
