The host Nathalie was fantastic. She made sure that breakfast was ready at your requested time and a great breakfast it was. Fresh strawberries from their farm and home made jams a treat. The room was large and bright and super clean. We would sit and have a conversation via translator for an hour or more at breakfast and Nathalie was very accommodating, even doing a load of washing for us when we were out for the day. We based ourselves here whilst we did the WW1 remembrance trail which worked very well. The house is on 8500m2 of land and is very quiet and relaxing. Would we come back, you bet

The Nordic Bath and Sauna were fantastic and the lodge itself was a delight with robes and other nice touches such as teas, coffees and water to feel very much at home. The hosts are lovely people and we enjoyed looking out to the farmland opposite, where they tend to chickens and goats.

Property was clean and had everything you could need and more… We booked breakfast and had a beautiful hamper of bread, pastries, juice etc delivered in the morning via a private nook in the cabin. We would also recommend the fabulous restaurant next door for a nice quiet dinner. Locally cooked food, delicious.

The staff were lovely, very friendly and welcoming whilst working with a quiet efficiency on most things. The hotel itself was very clean, there were no signs of wear and tear anywhere in the building. I would certainly stay there again.
