Breakfast, the fresh fruit salad was made with lots of fruit including kiwi, melon, blueberries and served with a delicious local made yoghurt. The cooked breakfast was cooked to perfection and used local products, sausages and bacon in particular very good. Bonus for us was being given the opportunity to see a teenage badger feeding in their garden. Train and buses only a few minutes walk away. Excellent bakery just at the end of the road. Ornamental Gardens and Prom within a few minutes walk and all on the flat.

Good quality breakfast with juice, yougurt, and full fry and plenty of coffee. Fair number of choices at dinner and all reasonable priced. Only small criticism was accessing the sink in the knott room toilet.not a lot of room due to fitting private facilities into small space.overall I would rate it highly and say it is good value.station was about 300 yards from hotel and were trains every hour and very cheap to travel on l travelled to Carnforth,Lancaster and Ulverston and the dearest return was £6-40

Our room had a nice view over the estuary and bridge. There was a problem with the bed but the manager sorted it out immediately and moved us to a bigger and better suite for our second night. Breakfast was very tasty with yogurt, fruit, cereals and a hearty fully English with toast making facility. Good private parking.
