After a long, long day on the Coast to Coast Trail, our stay was a very welcoming respite. Absolutely lovely place in a very nice village. Many restaurants and hikes near by. Jacky is an amazing host and would give you very nice tips on things to do around. The restaurants suggestions they have on their website and in the room are definitely worth trying. We loved our stay and we’re lucky that we got the room as they have 5 rooms only and is mostly booked out. Oh, and super nice fresh breakfast each morning :)

Mike was a wonderful host, kind, accommodating and helpful! The rooms were spotless, comfortable and equipped with everything a traveler would need. I'm not sure which view was more spectacular from the bedroom or the sitting room both incredible. It was a scenic and short walk to the lovely village. We enjoyed Tweedle's so much for dinner we went back for breakfast. I didn't realize how much I would enjoy the lake county and look forward to another visit and stay at the Chestnut Villa. Thank you Mike and staff! ;)
