Susanne and Glen are welcoming hosts. Room was as described and clean. Comfortable bed and good hot shower. Varied breakfast options lovingly served. Can walk into Bowness on Windermere along the lake path. Can come and go with your own set of keys. Hosts are informed about the local area and won't hesitate to help out with tips and advice. Definitely recommend.

We booked our stay at Lowghyll suite for 6 nights & every single day we spent there was better than the last. The area is perfect, with it only being a 10/minute walk from the centre of Bowness-on-Windermere. The couple who own the suit; Andre and Sue, are beyond lovely and extremely helpful, with them being quick to assist should any issues arise at the suite. They were also very helpful in telling us about the nice walks which we could go on in the area and where is best for entertainment, such as pubs by the lakeside.

Absolutely everything! Joan and Simon had everything covered, such a beautiful house with the most friendliest hosts!! The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, they are knowledgeable about the local areas and just made you feel so at home, so relaxing and comfortable.
