The room was very spacious and nicely decorated. very comfortable. Nice big comfy bed. The owner maggie was really friendly and made us feel very welcome straighr away. The breakfast was second to none. ... Lots of choice and fresh local produce nicely cooked.

We stopped a couple of nights and were met by Judith who immediately asked if we'd like tea and scones!! Who wouldn't? Summerbridge is a busy little place. Fortunately The Firs have their own off-street parking so it wasn't an issue. The B&B is spotless and Judith has excellent local knowledge - she knows all the best places to eat.

Claudia is an amazing host, nothing was too much trouble, and she went out of her way with those extra special touches which made our stay so special.. A very comfortable bed and amazing big bath.. This was a surprise night away with my husband and we absolutely loved it. The location is stunning with a beautiful short walk close by. It was so peaceful and the decking made a beautiful seating area to enjoy the quiet. Gillian was lovely and helpful.
