The historical factor, how pretty the cottage is both inside and out, the décoré, the location! It was all so beautiful- not a single fault to be had. The hotel was wonderful. Beautiful and very quiet location with access right out of the front door and up over the hills( behind the church) with my dog. The room was immaculate and well stocked with tea, coffee and even juice in a small fridge! It was a bright, spacious and beautifully decorated room, with a couch and views out into Hawkshead The bed was comfortable and the shower was wonderful. I highly recommend the Hive.
