It is located in a small village just outside of San Giovanni d'Asso behind a hill and reachable over a gravel road.

Her hospitality, the way she warmly welcomes you into her house and makes you feel like home, the wonderful breakfast she prepares with so much love and care every morning and the joy and happiness you feel in everything she does. If possible, I would rate Idolina with more than 10. The room is very clean and cozy decorated, right in the center of Montalcino. Great cookies were waiting for us in the kitchen. We had a great dinner at IL Moro restaurant, based on Fulvia recommendations. We highly recommend Fulvia's cozy accommodation. Breakfast was a good one, in a restaurant with an amazing view.

The place is amazing!! We recommend it and are already planning to come back :). The place is inside the old center of Montalcino, it has a beautiful decoration, good size room, very clean and AMAZING breakfast. There are water, juice and small snack available for the guests. The hotel itself is already really good and the owner and his wife are really a plus. They were very friendly, helpful and made us to feel like home. Thanks very much for the experience.

The apartment was large, stylishly decorated, and well appointed with everything required (full kitchen, washing machine, etc). The bed was super comfortable and it was lovely and quiet. Our host Caterina and her husband were incredibly kind and helpful. We arrived after having hiked 5 hours on the VF in the pouring rain (looking like drowned rats) and they were so gracious in welcoming us to their accommodation. I absolutely recommend Il Nido - my only regret is that I didn’t stay longer.

The monolocale itself is in a great location, less than a minute walk to bars and restaurants and is ideal for couples or an individual traveller.
