For those who do not speak Italian, ‘Binario 2’ means ‘Platform 2’. That’s because the accommodation is directly above the train station, which is very convenient for travel to Naples, Pompeii and the Sorrento peninsula. The air conditioned rooms were very comfortable and there’s a very welcome coffee pod machine in the kitchen, plus a fridge-freezer. Trains did not run late at night so we slept undisturbed.
