An excellent large-dog-friendly (important in my case) rural retreat a few minutes drive from Palmerston. Easy to find and check in, lovely cottage with high ceilings, all necessary amenities and a comfy bed. Breakfast was an unexpected pleasure and the quality of fruit fantastic. My pup loved roaming around the premises and I enjoyed relaxing near a plunge pool after a long day. The hosts are fantastically accommodating and pleasant: thanks John and Jennifer! will definitely be back. Will bring a guitar next time for a rehearsal as the acoustics in the room is amazing :-)

Featuring a spa & wellness centre and barbecue facilities, A Good Rest B & B is set in Alice Springs and is 5 km from Lasseters Casino. The bed is excellent. So comfortable, I almost didn't want to wake up this morning. Only my body clock thought otherwise. The hospitality from Margaret and Alf was very lovely. Very nice home they have. The neighbourhood is quiet also. Even for a one night stay, Ive had a great experience. Absolutely recommend it to anyone. Didn't have a chance to try the spa or the pool but I'm sure it will be the worth it in summer.

I liked the “home setting” in Alice Springs. I LOVED the owners, Kathy and Carl. The swimming pool and the beautiful lawn and the fresh eggs from the pet chickens just added to the fun of “Kathy’s Place.”

The Tropical Sanctuary is situated in Nightcliff and features barbecue facilities, a garden and a terrace. Free WiFi is featured. The property is located in a residential suburb. We arrived at 2 am due to the inconvenient flight timing from Sydney. We had to let ourselves in by a key from a key box and make our way across a lawn down the side of the building. So we were wondering what we had let ourselves in for. But we shouldn’t have worried because a delight awaits. A extremely large well fitted room, beautifully fitted bath room and a plunge pool.. So much nicer than a hotel. We thoroughly recommend it. Don't bother to hire a car if you are using tour operators for your excursions. Ubers are cheap a plentiful.
