As a handyman/DIYer, I was especially intrigued by how well the magnificent old building had been restored, with the finest materials, from top to bottom, along with the finest craftsmanship, maintaining the Old World integrity of the structure, while fully updating it with the clean, crisp edges of modernity. The scrumptious breakfasts were also a highlight of our visit, as they seemed to be for all the other very contented guests as well!

Absolutely loved this place! Beautiful, clean, comfortable rooms. Wonderful breakfast. Loved the small town off the beaten path but close to Bernkastel-Kues. Beautiful walk along the river.

Featuring garden views, Haus Mühlenruh provides accommodation with a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge, around 30 km from Castle Eltz. Everything was absolutely perfect. Wish we could stay longer. What we really liked is that there are several separated seating areas outside, so you could sit not only on your balcony but in the garden, if you wish. Really thoughtful. The breakfast was superb too. The owner is a very dedicated, nice person and a helpful person.

Very nice stay in a friendly atmosphare in a wineproducers house. Nice room and very good breakfast. The B&B is placed in a fine old village, Monzingen, in winearea Nahe. Holger Alt produces fine wines.

A recently renovated guest house in Zell an der Mosel and within 28 km of Cochem Castle, Haus Till E has a garden, comfortable allergy-free rooms and free WiFi. In love with the room, the breakfast and most of all the hosts!!! Both Jan and René did everything to make us feel at home :) They really went the extra mile, after mentioning my dietary restrictions (veggie and lactose intolerant) they made spreads and even went to the store to get extra yoghurt! We would wholeheartedly recommend staying here a few days, the town has some good restaurants aswell and it's a beautiful region!

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Hof Liebeneck is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Osterspai, 19 km from Electoral Palace, Koblenz. Owner was very attentive and helpful. Everything is maintained to perfection. I would definitely come back!

Set within 600 metres of Cochem Castle and 39 km of Nuerburgring in Cochem, Pension Graef provides accommodation with seating area. Private parking is available on site. The space was quite large, the kitchen was well equipped, and the host responded to all of our requests. We also didn't hear any noise from others staying in the same house. It's only a few minutes walk to Reichsburg Cochem. We ended up walking up from the train station (about 20 minutes, moderately steep), though the host told us as we arrived that she could have picked us up.
