The cottage had everything we needed for a weekend away and bread, butter, marmalades and milk were provided which was a nice added bonus. The bathroom was amazing! Big freestanding bath and large shower. Long Melford is a lovely quaint town with several pubs, shops and cafes and a perfect starting point to explore Sussex.
All lovely - great hosts, beautiful old building, excellent breakfast, comfortable and quiet room for a good nights sleep.

Excellent location quiet and private. Fabulous host who went out of her way to help us. Accomodation was so lovely, spotless and had absolutely everything you could need, warm and cosy. We loved it and would highly recommend a stay there if in the Long Melford area
We liked - loved - everything! The property is beautiful, and absolutely what we wanted on our break. The peace and quiet, and the hospitality - superb. Plus, one can take a short, charming walk across country up into the village to The Crown pub and restaurant, which has a great menu (takes about 15 mins).
Great location, lovely site, and some beautiful sunsets in this quiet corner of Suffolk. Steve and Carol are happy and helpful hosts, on hand if needed, and Clare is a charming village with just about everything you need. The pods are clean and cosy, and the ducks and geese wandering about made the trip.
Great location in a lovely town. Room was the perfect size, private and quiet. Would recommend
