Very charming, a proper BnB and felt very homely. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, especially considering the ‘child’ (shes 17) was free. Tom and Sam were great hosts. Was great to have a lounge to sit in with a cuppa at the end of the day and not to have to stay in the room. Beds were very comfortable (although the double felt small compared to our king size at home) and the room was quiet and very dark. The power shower was great and always hot water.
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location was quiet with beautiful scenery. The hotel is privately owned and steeped in history. Food was very good. Excellent value for money. Staff were all very helpful and friendly.
Great hostel for the price you’re paying. Nice staff, great location to go hiking, good facilities in the kitchen and it was very clean.
Really quaint country house, quiet location, friendly staff, amazing breakfast.
loved the house, pet friendly which was fantastic, lovely open fire, loved the sauna. great hosts, excellent breakfast
Great location, price, had lovely and quiet people with us in our room, slept fine. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at.
Great location, everything within a 30 minute drive. Well kitted kitchen, had everything we needed. Clean and warm. Showers and hot water in sinks was nice and hot. Ensuite alittle tight for a bigger man like me but was fine. Nice and quiet at night, no trouble sleeping.
Excellent location for our two-nights stay ! 20 minutes walk to Glendalough where the hiking trails begin. The hotel is charming, we had one of the rooms located in the garden, it was very quiet. Wi-fi is included. Breakfeast is not included, we had one in the associated restaurant wich was very good.
If I could I would give 11 as a review score. Bernie, the host, is the best. Very polite and attentive, and she brings breakfast with croissants, fresh fruits, and local bread every morning. The studio is very cozy and very clean and has everything you need. Comfortable bed, TV, kitchen, kitchenware, tea, and coffee service, welcome food with juices, milk, yogurts, cereal, and chocolate biscuits. Great location, where you can walk only 5min to the city center to buy food or enjoy a happy hour in a pub.
Absolutely beautiful hotel in a great location, so quaint and charming, yet with all modern comforts, loved it!
