I felt like I was in a cottage core style magazine. Everything was clean, the little flower garden in between the rooms/kitchen/bathroom is absolutely lovely, there is wifi, there is a TV, books to enjoy, a very nice kitchen, the bathrooms were the kind you enjoy having a shower in. There was noone else staying the night we went so it was very very nice but it would have been lovely anyway. There is also a very cute friendly cat called Taco, which was just the cherry on top. One of my favourite stays in NZ so far.

Breakfast was exceptional...delicious, perfectly sized and gorgeous presentation. Cruise shops could learn much from Qi. Small area of all day available food is a HUGH plus...can nake yourself a sandwuch, fruit, coffee/tea, cookies. When you dont know your way around or want to stay in to enjoy the gardens and birds , Qis thoughtfulness in providing staples for the day is so appreciated. Qi, her husband and mother are amazing hosts. This was a quick stop prior to boarding a cruise ship.But we look forward to coming back one day just to stay at echo lodge.

Lovely open, airy room, beautifully decorated and spotless. Kitchen was basic but had everything we needed. Bathroom was excellent. Spacious and well arranged. Richard and Angel had provided milk, cereals, tea and coffee which was lovely. Bed very comfortable. Just loved it all. Richard arrived in the morning to see us off. Would highly recommend here for Palmerston North.

Jolanda and her husband were super friendly and helpful. We arrived late around 21:30 but they still took the time to show us around their cozy B&B. The place is right on the highway which makes it the perfect spot if you are driving up from Wellington (or the other way of course). The room has a cool and fun design, it was spacious and we loved it. The breakfast was brought up to the room at the time we agreed upon the night before. There is even a cute little balcony and a cat to snuggle with if you feel like it!

Room was comfortable with all that was needed if you wanted to cook anything there was plenty facilities in the communal kitchen area where you can be all together or sit outside (weather permitting). The hosts were really friendly and helpful, recommending places to visit and where to eat.
