Set in San Juan, Almare Guest House Siquijor offers beachfront accommodation less than 1 km from Tubod Beach and offers various facilities, such as a private beach area and a garden. Great self-contained until in the garden on the property. Just a few units, and the family live at the top of the garden. Everyone was very friendly - and I got to play with the two very cute but very different (!) dogs! And also the cute kids too! Breakfast lovely also. Main thing though is being able to walk to the bottom of the garden, down some steps and snorkel in some of the clearest water you will see! Siquijor is a beautiful island.

Cute little cottages , it’s very nice glamping style . The property is new so everything is clean . It’s quiet and comfortable with hot showers and ac . The only downside is that there’s not many selection of nearby resto , it’s about 15-20 mins tricycle ride to San Juan area where the lively resto are located

Siman Panglao, a property with a garden, is situated in Panglao, 2.1 km from Alona Beach, 12 km from Hinagdanan Cave, as well as 23 km from Baclayon Church. It is a great place to stay. It is clean and the bed is comfortable . The staff are so friendly and approachable. It is also close to Alona beach. We had a great time!

Situated in Moalboal, Bernis Hostel features accommodation with private pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. Loved that everything was in good conditions. The owners really take care of everything. Wonderful place with a lovely pool. Great wifi (also in the room).

The food is exceptional, on a three night stay my wife and I were served freshly prepared evening meals not only based on local cuisine but also that of Thailand, China, Italy and even Sweden ! Breakfasts were also of a high standard again providing a wide range of options. Rooms are spacious and well appointed with quality bathroom fittings and a good shower. The private beach is kept pristine by daily beach combing, although it has to be said that early in the year the adjacent coastline suffers from seaweed and plastic debris brought in by the prevailing currents. At low tide the extensive tidal lagoons and sand bars provide for a great recreation, just strolling in crystal clear warm waters through meadows of sea grass, looking for exotic sea shells or watching the antics of the tiny blue sand crabs. If you are looking for a small quiet “out of town” retreat on Bantayan, with friendly staff look no further than the Maykenn Beach Resort. PS for a whistle stop tour of other delights on Bantayan the road tour is not to be missed.

Amigos Dauin Hostel, a property with a shared lounge, is located in Dauin, 13 km from Robinsons Place Dumaguete, 14 km from Dumaguete Belfry, as well as 14 km from Quezon Park. I was surprised by the quality of the room which was furnished like a nice hotel room. The room was immaculately clean, bed was very comfortable high quality sheets, integrated heater for the shower, plenty of lighting, ample space for storage, a balcony and even had clothes rack to hang laundry/ wet bathing suits. Sir Bong and his staff were all warm and friendly. He even offered me to drive and pick me up from the dive center. I was very pleased with my stay and would definitely come back here to visit Dauin.

Boasting a private beach area, garden and views of sea, Sambag Hideaway Bungalows is situated in Moalboal, 1.4 km from Panagsama Beach. Having an amazing snorkeling beach literally at your doorstep was a dream come true - sea turtles and thousands of tropical fish in the reef, star fish, octopus asked much more. The view from the cliff top is very hard to look away from! The staff and owners were fabulous, we felt more like family than guests. Nothing was too hard, everything was easily organised on our behalf, and on new years eve we were invited to dinner with the families to experience true Filipino style food. The gardens are fantastic and very carefully maintained by the green thumb owner! The resident dogs and cat were an extra special touch. Security was great and we felt very safe at all times. Being past partying age, we loved the quiet sanctuary and a small number of rooms meant a much more personal experience getting to know other guests and staff attentiveness.

Comprising a private beach area and an open-air bath, Swakihan Guest House is a recently renovated accommodation in Siquijor located close to Solangon Beach. We absolutely loved our stay here. The location, the staff and the environment was perfect. Also the food and drinks are very nice and affordable. They do live music on the eveing wich suits perfect with the sunset timing. There's also a little beach in the hotel and it's perfect for a quick deep or just for lay there, relax and enjoy a good book. I would deffinetely recommend Swakihan Guest House if you are staying in Siquijor. We regret not extending our stay. Thank you so much for having us!! If we come back to the Philippines we will deffinetely stay here again! :)
