The Best Western Plus in Nottingham is the ideal place to explore the city from. This time I was on business visiting the Crowne Plaza opposite ... but opted to stay here as the price was more competitive.

Excellent location for city centre which we found most convenient. Obviously, because of this, there was some street/club noise overnight, which is to be expected. Very little noise in the hotel itself. Polite and efficient staff, a complementary room upgrade and a very comfortable bed. We would certainly use the Best Western Plus again.

We've stayed here a few times and we're always greeted normally by Christina who is really really helpful she and the rest of the reception staff are an asset to Best Western. The rooms are always spotless and plenty big enough.

Generally a very clean hotel. Friendly staff both on reception, bar and breakfast duty. Great lounge/bar area with a very authentic victorian stately home feel. It's grounds are very quiet despite its proximity to Nottingham. Bed was surprisingly comfortable and provided a good nights sleep. It's similar to other historic Best Western hotels. Fairly priced given the location.

We have been coming to Nottingham since 2015 and every time we have needed to stay somewhere, we always chose the Best Western over the road. After a wholly dissapointing last visit, we said we’d try the Crowne Plaza and we are kicking ourselves that we didn’t do it sooner! The staff were amazing, the bar is beautifully decorated and I just felt really calm and relaxed.

Breakfast was lovely, staff were marvellous given they had to explain closed restaurant, no beer delivery, hardly any spirits, no breakfast buffet on day two due to small number of guests (it was cooked to order instead and still really good) Best Western should be proud of their staff, they are up against it through no fault of theirs.

The history of the building was amazing. Loved all the features on the walls and the artefacts. It doesn’t feel like a Best Western at all. Staff were lovely. Grounds are gorgeous. It was a unique place to stay, you kind of feel as if you are in Game of Thrones. 🤣
