The Location and the surroundings were excellent. Self service which suited us fine as meant that we were not restricted. A very Pleasant Couple who ensured that we were all settled in, even our 14 Month Golden Retriever "George". A great base for the Lake District close to the main road. A Very Relaxed stay for all of us.

Around 8 miles from Carlisle, Fiddleback Farm offers attractive en suite accommodation within 25 minutes of the Lake District, Solway Coast and the Scottish Borders.

We had a warm welcome on our arrival from Katie. Family room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated with views of the grounds. Beds were very comfortable. The sofa bed was nice and big too. Very dog friendly with access to grounds for dog walking. Kids woke to see rabbits playing outside the window. Breakfast was exceptional. Good quality and decent portions with a proper butchers jumbo sausage. A great place to stay on our way to Center Parcs. We have recommended to friends already.

Molly was a delight to stay in. She was immaculate, comfy bed, very tastefully decorated, and I felt safe as a solo traveller and had everything I needed. The sunsets were also amazing. Friendly neighbours dog Dolly joined me for dinner. Quiet peaceful, just what I needed. Was able to make a lovely BBQ. Thank you

Amazing little cozy Lodge perfect for our family of 5. Tim and Andrea were very welcoming and full of ideas what we can do on days out with kids. Welcoming pack was lovely addition. We found everything we needed and we will definitely be back. Let's just say it felt like home!
