In the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district of Berlin, close to East Side Gallery, Locke at East Side Gallery features a fitness centre and a washing machine. Cool design at a great price. Didn’t mind the lack of cleaning. It all just worked really well. Not in a cozy neighborhood, a bit out on its own. However, super cool to be on the wall and the river. Plus it’s centrally located so it’s easy to get to the cool neighborhoods.

The staff from the restaurant to the front desk to the bar were all exceptional. The room was perfect and felt luxurious; very clean, good WiFi, lovely bathroom with underfloor heating, very comfy big bed, and quiet at night. The general layout of the hotel is spacious and elegant. It's nice to see plants everywhere. The food was exceptional too.
