Nice simple quiet cabins, in the middle of well kept wooded grounds. Furnishings are basic. Close to Santa Elena restaurants and a half hour walk to cerro verde, a beautiful hilltop hotel complex. Great bakery just 3 mins walk outside. Dog friendly. No music at night. Good for people who want to be left alone.

Situated in Jerico and 54 km from Medellín, Cabañas y Flores features pet-friendly accommodation, a year-round outdoor pool, a flower-surrounded environment and views of the mountain. We had a wonderful stay at Finca Cabanas y Flores. The owners, Mario and Dione, are wonderful warm hosts. And Sergio is always there to take care of you! We loved the location of the Finca. It’s a short 15 minute walk into town, but seems like a world away from your cabin in the hills overlooking Jerico. After dinner in Jerico in the evening you can walk back (it’s very uphill!), or just catch a Tuk Tuk for 5,000 COP, about $1.25 USD. The views are stunning, especially from the breakfast patio, which is delicious and plentiful! The cabins themselves are lovely and comfortable. The bed was great, shower was hot, and it’s extremely quiet at all times as the location is far enough from the road. If you need wifi, the public areas have great coverage, but the 3G cell coverage is great so you can also use Wifi in your cabin using the iPhone hotspot. If you really need wifi in your cabin you get get great coverage for 10,000 COP per day, or $4 USD. You can’t go wrong staying at Cabanas y Flores!

Hospedaje Santaelena -chalets de montaña- offers bungalow-style accommodation in the heart of Santa Elena,Medellin. The property is surrounded by nature. Free parking is available. This entire place is lovely. The gentleman running the location was exceedingly accomodating, and the property is fantastic.

The cabin is very cute and well-equipped, the surrounding scenery is stunning, and the host couldn't be more helpful. This was the perfect way to start our Colombian adventure, perched on the edge of a mountain with views over Medellin to one side, and views of the countryside to the other. At the end of our stay we took the metro cable from Parque Arví down into the city...which provides another must-see perspective over Medellin. Overall...highly recommend to anyone looking for a little bit of nature, serenity and seclusion within reach of Medellin.
