The hotel always has visitors and plenty come for the biking and exploring the area. We've been only using it for sleepovers during long trips, was in the vicinity one night and came back 3 times already. Rooms are clean and always have water in the fridge free of charge. Was loving the breakfast buffet as well as they have a nice selection of fresh and cooked food. The staff is always friendly and the check-in process is a breeze. Having had a booking on a wrong date once, we were accommodated with a corresponding room and had no issues. You also have some lovely views of the castle on a hill and the surrounding mountains. Will come back again when we're tired from a longer journey.

Our accommodation was upgraded compared to what we ordered. Overall, however, this place was a pleasant surprise and it is a shame we couldn't have spent more time here. There is definitely more to discover here. The private beach with all the facilities is very nice.

Annenheim is a very small town on the Ossiacher See.
Annenheim is a very small town on the Ossiacher See. We were there for only three days, out of season (end of April) and with bad weather, so we did not explore as much as we would have if the weather were better. We did some walks around the lake and in the forest around it. There are many different trails, from easy to hard. There is also paragliding, possibility to rent boats, skiing in winter. One thing we noted is that out of season almost every restaurant/cafe in the area is closed (one would need to go to Villach to eat out).

You could practise or visit various spots and have a lot of activities.
You need at least three days.
The offer for booking is vast and onest at the right price.
Amazing! I fully recommend the Jagerhotel. My family and I just passed driving Austria and decided to stay one night. The hotel is very well located near the main motorway and near to many interesting locations to visit as tourist. The hotel staff was so welcoming and friendly, room very clean with a beautiful view of lake and castle. The breakfast had a lot of variety and everything was fresh. I’m planning to come back and stay longer as we want to visit more in Austria. 100% recommended. We loved it! Thank you Jagerhotel!
Awesome view over the Ossiach Lake and the Burgruine Landskron. Comfy bed, modernized facilities. Very friendly personell. Since we were there during European Bike Week the rates were rather high. I would definitely recommend taking a room in the Jägerhotel / Jägerhof, which is right next door, because there are newer and larger rooms at mostly the same rate. It is owned by the same people and both guest houses share one reception (which is in the Jägerhotel anyways)
The Hotel is in superb location, equipped with everything You would need to have a great active holiday. (Hiking, biking, bathing ... etc.) Breakfast is excellent and with great selection from local producers. The private beach on Ossiachersee is something really special and offers full comfort for relaxing. Staff was always very friendly and helpful and special thanks to Angelika for her kind help. We will definitely go back here again, if possible.
The building is quite new so everything looks new and clean and everything works well. It was handy that there is plenty of space by the entrance to safely store bicycles etc. The appartment itself is very spacious and well equipped. The view on the Ossiacher See is great. In the area there is a lot to do and see without masses of tourists.
Our room was on the ground floor, and it still had a great view on Ossiacher See. Our hosts were very kind, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The Kanzelbahn cable lift is a 10 minute walk from the house. For such an affordable price, I highly recommend Pension Winkler to anyone.
We especially enjoyed the owners good mood and their perfect service at the hotel, and the perfect breakfast..
The surroundings and view is spectacular.
We experienced the tour around the lake on rented bicycles and visited Villach.
