Special!! Inspiring to the point where you almost forget where you are coming from. Rural and peaceful to thoroughly enjoy long walks through nature. Our longest walk was from Mieders to Neustift and we loved every moment of it. We do hope and look forward to going back to Mieders in the future. Transport from/to Innsbruck and to the glacier area is frequent and very efficient. There is not a lot of restaurants, but, the ones available are awesome!!.

On one hand, it is very central - close to Innsbruck, but on other hand, if you want to go directly to Innsbruck direction without spending time, you have to pay 3.5 Eur to use the bridge (same is on the way back). If you don't want to pay, you will go to Innsbruck 45 minutes instead of 20 minutes. Similar is for any time that you need to go to Innsbruck direction or to the right direction (east) from Innsbruck.

Nice quiet little town, right in the middle of the Alps.
Nice quiet little town, right in the middle of the Alps. It is near Stubai Glacier (30 minutes by car), Oetztal and Kaunertaler glaciers (1 - 1.5 h by car). Serlesbahnen offers a beautiful experience and when reaching the destination on top of Mieders, there are many other mountain activities available. Meiders is also very close (20 minutes by car) to Innsbruck, a city one must visit at least once for its beautiful architecture and atmosphere.

Located very close to highway going south through the Brenner Pass .Very convient if you want to rest one night before crossing the pass.Very nice little village with a free skilift that takes you up to a nice walking area and playground ground children .The summer rodelbahn looked stunning. Will try next time.
Beautiful room with two large balconies each with lovely views over the valley and surrounding mountains. Friendly service, English speaking staff, who recommended somewhere to eat in the little village - which was a traditional Austrian restaurant with good food and a nice busy atmosphere. Breakfast had a good range of food, and seemed very popular. Free parking at the hotel, which was just above the village, a few minutes walk to the village Spar shop and a local bar and restaurant.
We used the hotel as a stop over from Germany to Italy. The Hotel is in the village in quiet location 2 kms from the Brenner Autobahn, near to the cable car station. The inside of the hotel in wooden chalet style. Helpful, polite and attentive staff in all domaines. Good breakfast buffet. Eggs and bacon are served on order. Competitive rates and half pension is offered. Free parking.
There are only two apartments on the second floor of the property, each has a living room, toilet, bathroom, one or two bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. The place is spotless clean with an amazing view, and only a short walking distance from the Serlesbahnen ski lift.
The hosts were very nice and helpful.

Upon our journey to Italy we overnight at this hotel where we were welcomed with a delicous BBQ.
Our room was clean and offered us a wonderful view of the Alps.
WE wished we could of stayed longer. Thus our next vacation will be with this lovely family at this great hotel
Location was perfect. Breakfast was reach, dinner was beyond all our expectations .the hotel runs by a family and that's the feeling you get . Staff is so friendly and welcoming. Especially Thomas and his mom who are there all the time.
The village, Mieders is relatively small, but everything is needed here. I was very pleased with the behavior of the people. Everyone was helpful and smiling. The landlords are very helpful and nice.
The stay was quiet and relaxing.
Haus Driendl is a beautiful house, with a wonderful lady and son owning and managing it. Both myself and my partner felt quite 'at home', also inspired and positively impressed by the sense of close community in Mieders.
Beautiful view to the mountains from room balcony. The hotel restaurant is perfect with exceptionally delicious food. The stuff is very friendly and helpful.
