Belogradchik as a town has nothing to offer, but The Rocks and the surroundings are amazingly beautiful. The place should be on everyone's short list, a place to visit at least once in a lifetime. So pity that is so poor promoted. The entire region should be extremely wealthy having such a treasure.

The city has been improving in the last decade. Now it has much more to offer. However, the tourist infrastructure could be improved, e.g. linking the Belogradchick rocks, the wines of the region (the excellent Borovitsa winery), the caves and the nice churches near Oreshets.GeorgiBulgaria - 10Scored 10

I would like to come back and stay at least for a week. So much to see. Incredible place. I think it is a good idea to connect with someone local and to ask him to show us the best places and to tell us about local fairy tales and myths. I hope to come back soon.КатеринаBulgaria - 8.0Scored 8.0
The rocks are amazing, the fortress impressive.
The rocks are amazing, the fortress impressive. A small, sleepy town in the middle of gorgeous natural wonders. Nearby are several caves that are must sees including the Megura and Venetsa. Restaurant Mislen Kamak has a fabulous view of the rocks, delicious traditional Bulgarian food, friendly staff, and very reasonable prices.fitzwhitChina - 8.0Scored 8.0

We loved the Belogradchik fortress, the views of the rocks and the Magura cave (although they didn't provide us a guide as we were told they would). Not many people outside of our host, the waitress as Pri Ivan, and a guy at the end of Magura cave can speak English so a bit hard to get by if you don't know Bulgarian or Russian, but the nature and views definitely were worth it!

The 2 bathrooms are very good with large shower spaces - very well designed (no flooding of bathroom like in most other places in Bulgaria!). The Belogradchik Rocks are visible in the distance from the top of the garden making for a beautiful view. Very helpful and friendly staff. Would love to return again!

Room is big enough for two people and the bed was very good. There is a kitchen for guests but the stove is in another room so it wasn't too easy to prepare your own meals. There is a small bathroom for three rooms including a toilet so it can be crowded sometimes and whole bathroom will be wet when someone showers so prepare for using flip-flops.
