Gabrovo is a small town in the middle of nowhere in Bulgaria...
Gabrovo is a small town in the middle of nowhere in Bulgaria, that offers a lot of treats. Etar(a) and the museum of Humor and Satire may be the biggest ones for me. But the authenticity of this town as a basic real bulgarian city that still is untouched by tourism overkill is very important to me. Not for partygoets, but culture and sightseeing for a week if that is your thing. Mazalat / Osana is a beautiful mountain hike within a taxy rides reach. Etar(a), a cultural museum is awesome for anyone interested in handicrafts an culture. If you go to gabrovo, your favorite football team is Yantra!

The staff was friendly even though they don't speak English. Very good value for money. Quiet and peaceful location, on the outskirts of Gabrovo. I had everything I needed in the room: clean towels, soap, shampoo, clean linens. Everything was just as needed.
