Armstrong is a neat little town, boasting the Armstrong Cheese factory as well as a couple antique shops, thrift stores, quilting shop, etc. A quiet alternative to staying in Vernon, but close enough for day trips to the water slides or even a quick shopping trip.

You could hear the highway, but that did not disturb us for it was not too noisy. Friendly staff. Armstrong is nice, but does not offer much. Tim Hortons, McDonalds and a gasstation that sells pizza even in the evenings nearby.

They have kept up with repairs and decor to keep it fresh looking. Overall my auntie really enjoyed her stay. She slept well .. near by restaurants and grocery store, drug store. ideal area for Inn.

If you like fluffy, fuller pillows, bring your own the ones they have are like wafers. Otherwise, for an older hotel it was clean and very suitable.
