Kingston carries itself with the poise of a bigger city while remaining relatively small. Lots of Gothic Revival architecture for the art nerds (I include myself on that list) and a friendly atmosphere made Kingston a fun visit. Also some really good bars and restaurants for a town of its size. A worthwhile visit if traveling between Montreal, Toronto, or Ottawa.

There are great walking trails along the waterfront and the downtown area was less than 10 minute walking distance and felt safe in the evening. The shops were varied and there were plenty of restaurants, bars and pubs to choose from.

The city of Kingston is so littered with homeless peoples garbage everywhere spray paint on almost every corner and a general public are smoking so much carfentanol and enphetameins and if that isnt enough Kingston possessed no family values from city council on down and the cheif of police is responsible for nothing but a 460 million dollar budget and the university students acue one million in fines annually for their wild parties

Kingston is a beautiful City in any season.

Kingston is a beautiful City in any season. The incredibly rich history of Canada and the early years of this great country is obvious. There are many restaurants; they are unique restaurants that are full of atmosphere. The quality of food is some of the best in Canada. There are also the normal chain restaurants located across the city. The waterfront is an absolute treat to walk. The downtown area of this city is safe and full of nightlife.

    A tough city to navigate!

A tough city to navigate! Many streets have medians which make it much more complicated to access facilities on the other side! Amazing shopping options at the Cataraqui Centre! Hard to believe SO many upscale stores are in Kingston. It’s just like being on Toronto, but they’re all in one mall with The Bay! Wow! Disappointed to discover that O.d Fort Henry had closed a month ago! We had hoped to spend a sunny day visiting there!!

This is the best hotel in Kingston, overall in Canada. The staff, all were very kind and helpful, at the front, in the hotel restaurant, and in housekeeping, impressively kind. Its location in the Waterfront was another merit as well as huge parking lot. Particularly I thank the guy who waited for me in front of room to carry the coffee capsules and cups which I requested for quite a long time even at 6 am in the morning!

This friendly little gem is located in a beautiful leafy quiet residential part of Kingston that was close to St. Lawrence College and Queens University. The Hockey Hall of Fame and sports facilities would have been lovely additions to my stay had it been longer. Public transport and travel by car or taxi made trips downtown and to other neighbourhoods quick and convenient.

We had a studio-room with a kingsize bed. Very comfortable and with a view to the lake. Hotel located top for a one block walk to doentoen Kingston. A very good breakfast included. Car could be parked outside or in the garage. We can recommend the hotel very much. A very convenient shower (not part as a bathtub as usual).

The room was big. 2 big beds with a sofabed. All quite comfortable. The breakfast was incredible, A+. The hotel isn't very far from the downtown, but again Kingston isn't a very big city neither. A fitness room with all the basic equipment for your stay. Does the job! The pool+hot tub were nice and clean.

It's certainly more dorm than hotel, but honestly it was fine - clean, spacious, nice check-in staff, good value, and 15-20 min walk to get downtown. I'd recommend it if you're looking for an affordable place to stay in Kingston.
