Hotel was central to Ost train station (500 meters) and West city (700 meters. Hotel staff is excellent with any recommendation you ask. Especially Tea was very helpful with directions and restaurants. Mas in dining area was especially happy to provide ice each evening. The Hotel is very nice and breakfast was expansive and great.

I’ve traveled various places around the world since the 1970’s and never encountered a more helpful and cheerful manager as Adam. He provided detailed maps and advice before we arrived. When we reached the lodge it was as if we were meeting a friend.
The two Maria’s and Nathalie also were very friendly and helpful. The room was well positioned to access restaurants, shopping, public transportation and to admire the waterfall from our balcony.
Rooms were comfortable and a lovely hot breakfast was included. It was such a wonderful stay!!
In the center of town, the Bernerhof is an ideal choice for summer and winter holidays alike and offers a great views of the Eiger Mountain from the terrace.

Fantastic location next to the station. Great room plenty of space for 3 people. In reception free tea & coffee lovely when back in from a cold walk. Hotel is right in the town plenty of shops. Wonderful choice at breakfast. Staff couldn't do enough especially Doreen on reception plenty of knowledge of the area. Great help when planning our day. Thomas also on reception had a problem with the TV sorted out within minutes. Everything we asked was dealt with kindness and politeness.
