This os the best hotel i have ever stayed in Europe. The interior is lovely, rooms big, dogs are welcomed. Swimming pool great in the cold days. Breakfast so tasty that you can't stop to eat:) restaurant menu is exceptional. And all of this in the room with the mountains view. Around the hotel the mou tain and lake virw is breath taking. There is a great forest parh for a walks. I definitely recommend.

Long narrow drive up to Isenthal, not for the faint hearted. Basic accommodation with friendly staff and excellent location with mountain views. If you don't like pork your out of luck as the restaurant only served various tasty dishes of pork.

Its a nice village in the swiss mountains.
Its a nice village in the swiss mountains. The drive up the mountain is an experience on its own (check the times the bus drives up the mountain on the signs before you drive up the road. We had to drive backwards up the mountain for half a km.) There isnt much to do in the village itself, but the surroundings are beautiful.SvenNetherlands - 10Scored 10

We made an unplanned stop at Isenthal wanting to experience a swiss mountain town. Were we impressed! The place and the hotel were fantastic. The owner Rudy was extremely helpful and pleasant. Laura who served us was also very good. We had a great time, hiking, enjoying the beauty of the mountains and views of the lake after a great hike. I would recommend the place and hotel very highly.

The way up there is steep and the hotel belongs to a tiny village with a nice small hiking track suitable for children. Luckily, the hotel has a very good restaurant (big plus!), we ate a delicious fondue while the children enjoyed watching the goats. We had a super comfortable room for four, divided into two bedrooms. The two young women from the staff were super friendly and helpful, a pleasure to interact with. Thank you! We loved our stay.

Also ate at the on-site restaurant which was good! Would’ve liked a little fridge and a kettle in the room to allow a little self-sufficiency. Very friendly owner. We had adjoining rooms with a balcony where we could meet for a drink overlooking the river. We were looking for a traditional Swiss hotel and this was perfect. There is a shop in tne village, and you can walk in the mountains from the doorstep. Breakfast was good, the staff were lovely and we loved it.
