Los Altos Beach Resort & Spa Excellent 8.7 Loved everything! My son said that the hotel was the best part of the trip. Private elevator opens to spacious suite, stunning Master bedroom, beautiful property incredible view and pool area!
Parador Resort and Spa Excellent 8.8 Loved the attentiveness of the staff - we were very tired after an exhausting birdwatching tour and the hotel was exactly what we needed - luxury, good food, brilliant environment - particularly liked the help we got to see the resident sloths from the gardeners and the hotel guide.
Hotel San Bada Resort & Spa Excellent 8.6 The staff and stay was wonderful
Shana Hotel & Spa Very good 8 The apartment was clean, spacious and exceeded all expectations! Staff was friendly and very helpful.
Hotel Karahe Good 7.6 The beds were comfortable and the room was O.K. Liked the fridge and the outdoor space. The staff was wonderful especially Bryan who kept us comfortable and in drinks on the beach. The office was helpful in helping us book trips and arrange for taxis although the taxi drivers ripped us off. 4,000 colones to get to "the Marina" restaurant and only 2,000 to get us back home. The pool is lovely. The restaurant is fantastic. Had a great dinner there. The breakfast is tipico and very nice. The staff is wonderful. I will come back.
Jungle Beach Hotel Manuel Antonio Good 7.9 location - easy walk to beach, town centre and bus stop, quiet, shower, chairs outside room
El Faro Beach Hotel Very good 8.1 Right next to the park, a short walk from the public beach, and best views in Manuel Antonio.
Hotel Costa Verde Excellent 8.7 I traveled with two kids, 5 and 7, and we had been around at there different National Parks in CR before coming to Manuel Antonio. But funny enough we decided not to enter the real park. We stayed in the pool area and on our remarkable balcony. We saw more monkeys and sloths than on our previous park tours. We must have seen over two hundred monkeys of three different kinds, howler, squirrel, and white-faced. Plus many bird. (Mot-mots) Also I was astonished by how well-kept the green areas around the different hotel buildings were. We were in paradise, half way up in the canopy on our balcony with ocean view. Amazing. We extended our stay one night. Food avarage but nice restaurants in the area. Taxi over-priced. Oh, free taxi to the four restaurants that are connected to the hotel.
Hotel Vela Bar Very good 8.2 Danika and Luis greeted us by name and with a smile! the pool was great, the grounds are beautifully kept. 100 meters to the beach and 100 meters to the manuel antonio national park. great value for money. there's an ice cream place right beside! restaurants, small grocery, souvenirs, bars and lots of ambiance !
Hotel Maria Teresa Good 7.5 We really enjoyed our stay at the Maria Teresa Apartments! Our host David provided us with lots of information about the area and additionally with helpful tips for our further trip southwards. It is a clean and calm place with all you need to relax after a long day at the beach or the National Park! We can definitely recommend that place! :)
Cabinas Espadilla
Jungle Villa Good 7.4 Everything is always amazing!!!!! Love the leisurely atmosphere and visits from the monkeys! The staff is always there to help in anyway they can but not intrusive or overbearing! We love jungle villa!!!!!!

Hotels that guests love in Manuel Antonio

    • this is not a bad Hotel, if you are not used to 5 star travel. we rented a house on the property, The family that runs the place is very nice the staff is very friendly. the location is sort of awkward out of the hotel's own and not really a great area, however it is Costa Rica. it's very close to everything in Manuel Antonio, less than 10 minutes to the beach, and 2 minutes to the beach in Quepos

    • Everything was great. Friendly and helpful trio of fellows run the place and it felt laid back and relaxed. Quiet pleasant surroundings. Nice spacious clean room. None of the negative comments I had read were true at all. Feel glad I ignored them. Fine breakfast. One of top Italian dinner spots right on site and price is fair. Costa Rica is not a cheap destination especially Manuel Antonio. Best beach is a convenient 10 min bus ride away and hotel is centre between town and beach.

    • The incredibly spacious room, the friendly and helpful staff, the beautiful landscaping and peaceful atmosphere, the hotel's mascot Betty the beagle, air conditioning that actually kept the room pleasant, the proximity to town and the beach, the easy parking, the beautiful decor - including incredible mosaic-tiled floors and walls.

    • Awesome location! Right outside the hotel is gorgeous beach with the best sand we have seen in Costa Rica. Also within walking distance to manuel antonio. We did it with a 4 year old and not quite 2 year old. Should have brought a stroller but we managed. Also we saw 4 types of lizards and a fascinating colony of leaf cutter ants right outside the hotel gate.

    • The hotel is at the entrance to the National Park and across the street from the beach when you use the special exit to the beach. The staff is incredible. Don't miss the pool and the views from the 6th floor. Beware if you are traveling to any hotel in Costa Rica because if you arrive with children over 8 there will be an additional charge. These sites only tell the hotel 2 adults and assume children up to 17 will be free, but that is not so. At at San Bada it is an additional $40 for each older child.
