A very comfortable hotel in great surroundings.
A very comfortable hotel in great surroundings. Lack of tea making facilities and only adequate breakfast is disappointing. Steep hill down to hotel is challenging even if you are fairly fit from Bensberg and the tram stop.

From the size of the room up to the comfort inside, the hotel is fantastic. Thank you to the host, a wonderful lady who prepared a fantastic breakfast too. It is perfect for a couple who want to stay in a familiar environment with easy access to the rest of the city.

The owner was very kind. There is a stop just in front of the apartment for the bus to Bergisch Gladbach (10 min Drive) and within 10 min walk you reach the center of Refrath and the tram to Cologne

Location is also great, 18 minutes walk from the Mediterana Spa, 10 minutes walk to the U-Bahn to Cologne, multiple local buses.

The property is surrounded by meadows and rolling hills, a contrast to the busy and crowded Christmas markets of Cologne. Getting back to the base where it's peaceful and quiet is a welcome relief.
