Bollendorf is in a nice setting but the town has few facilities, and speaking to locals it appears much of the tourist business has been damaged by a combination of COVID lockdowns and the devastating floods in 2021.
The hotel staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They were very pleasant, and check-in was very easy. The hotel offered reasonably priced, self-service drinks (water, juice, soda, beer, wine) in a common area just above the lobby. Breakfast offered a variety of selections. The servers were very friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant was very pleasant and the food was wonderful. The surrounding area offered many beautiful views and opportunities for many wonderful hiking and biking excursions.
Very pretty hotel, located on a hillside overlooking Bollendorf and on the other side of the river Luxemburg. Perfect location for hiking near mullerthal trail. Beautiful nature and clean trails. The hotel was a bit dated, the floors and walls could use an update. We stayed on the ground level and the WiFi wasn’t available. Pool is very nice. Staff is friendly and the food was good!
Since the beginning to the end we were super well welcomed to the hotel and the restaurant. The view from the room was very nice to able to wake seeing such a beautiful river is something amazing. The restaurant I only can say 5 stars to everybody, always smiling and making my you feel super welcomed. Good portions and an even better taste.
The view from the aparthotel is stunning. The size of it (2 actually separate bedrooms, bathroom, extra separate toilet, living, dining, breakfast areas, kitchen and terrace!
You get access to the pool, which the children really enjoyed.
The restaurant had delicious food (loved the wild mushroom soup ad starters) and the service was great!

Lots of great hikes around and nothing better than going to the swimming pool and sauna after a long hike.
We were travelling as part of a cycle club touring group and stayed at the Hotel Burg for one night. The hotel is well located with a lovely view of the river Sauer . The staff were extremely friendly and helpful , and we enjoyed a delicious evening meal in the restaurant.

Fabulous location in a beautifully preserved "fairy tale" castle. Very spacious suite. Friendly staff. Possible to eat in the hotel restaurant, which has a terrace in the castle courtyard as well as 2 sizeable rooms indoors. Some vegetarian options

The view and nature was also exceptional.
