The breakfast was extensive, with lots of choice. The room was not really large but everything was clean and the shower was excellent. As I came in on a rainy day with a motorcycle it was really nice they offered to let me park it in their garage and dry my motorclothing in their dry room.

Hosts went out of their way to provide a shower chair for my wife, there was only a bathtub and because of knee surgeries she could not get into a tub. they didn't speak English but we figured it out, It was on a busy corner but we stayed Saturday and Sunday so the semi didn't wake us up early in the morning like I thought they would.

The location was ideal. The outdoor architecture is beautiful. The river and the bridge looked amazing even in the rain. Umbrellas were available for guests to use. The bathroom was clean and spacious.

My stay in the area was our of necessity, but as I had to stay a night a had a brief look around the area. There is plenty of beautiful hiking to be done and Drolshagen is very close to the Biggesee which is also beautiful. The town has a nice small city centre with an excellent ice cream cafe that has a large "patio" seating area directly on the main town square.
I've stayed in this hotel for 1 night and like every bit of it. It was conveniently located and had enough (free) parking spaces, rooms are spotlessly clean and the hosts were the best you can wish for: super friendly and warmhearted people who run this place perfectly. You'll feel at home immediately and it's truly a home away from home. Also the breakfast was good and the food in the restaurant is delicious!
I'll definitely visit here again when i'm in Sauerland and absolutely recommend this place.
I liked the location: the village is beautiful and the people really nice. I liked as well the host, very friendly and detail oriented. The flat was spotless clean and well equipped. I didn't miss anything. The bed is comfortable, the TV has many channels and Netflix. The bathroom is big, the kitchen as well. There is a table outside - there I had a great breakfast surrounded by flowers. The village is very close to Olpe and Drolshagen, easy to find things to do while there.
The sympathy and cordiality of the owners will make your day. The hotel is pleasant, clean and the room spacious, maybe a little bit noisy but…. Nobody’s perfect!! Breakfast is way more than satisfactory, in quantity and quality. Attention, the restaurant is open only on weekends, but in front of the hotel, the steak house will satisfy even the more exigent clients
Very nice hotel with a wonderful staff. The dinner from the hotel restaurant was excellent and although my stay was to short to take advantage of it I am sure there is plenty of beautiful hiking in the area!
