It’s a beautiful elegant modern hotel. The staff were lovely and the rooms were very practically set up and clean. The rooftop bar is akin to a classic NYC rooftop bar with a thorough menu, fantastic staff, and cool ambiance.

Well. Everything was perfect! Also, my 3.5 year old daughter drew with a pen on a love seat in the reception area, after hours when I didn't see. I told the staff/management about it; and they took it so weel and were so pleassnt about it! They did not charge us anything for that mishap.

    This is a key hub on Lake Constanz and the home of the Graf Zeppelin, thus the great museum. It is an excellent place to base a visit to other towns and sites on Lake Constance whether by ferry, train or bus (and we did all three). Best of all it is not overrun by tourists

    I only stayed 1 night, as a stop on my way to Italy. Lovely city, I will for sure go back (and likely tour the whole lake). Only downside is to get there: roads were packed as hell, with lots of traffic jams. Much like the Italian lakes.

    Beautiful setting with Lake Constance as natural attraction, coupled with the annual AERO Friedrichshafen airshow it is an excellent place to visit for both business and leisure travelers. The only "challenge" is the last miles of getting there. Because it is not a first-tier city, flight connection for the international travelers into FDH is not easy, one must either drive or take a train or ferry by flying to a nearby first-tier city. Perhaps better arrangements can be made, especially during the AERO or other major global events.

    The town was in a hibernation in February.

    The town was in a hibernation in February. Meaning lots of places were closed. The place is mostly visited by German tourists because the people in the town aren't speaking very well the English language. Thanks to my wife that could understand a bit of German and to the people that were very understandable to our broken German language, we've managed to find a way of communication. The prices - are pricey. Touristic place of course. The town was clean, and near Switzerland and Austria which we visited of course. We've loved that in the restaurants the cooks were adjusting our chosen dish in order to fit it to our keto diet. This means a lot when the restaurants are flexible to each customer. Friedrichshafen is meant to be visited in the warm season, not the cold one due to the extremely clean lake Constance where you can swim and rest. We have visited in the cold season because we needed a place to stay near Switzerland and Austria and Bavaria of course. We have traveled by car which offered us the opportunity in a week to visit lots of places like Black Forest, Neuschwanstein castle, Munchen, Wuertzburg, Rottenburg ob de Tauber, Meersburg, Lindau, Neuhausen am Rheinfall in Switzerland, and Pfänder mountain in Austria. Hope this recommendation will help other travelers.

    The apartment was lovely and we enjoyed staying there however th access stairs had a terrible odour but pnce inside the aparent the smell was gone. If the owner would do something about the odour the apartment would be perfect.

    I really like the place.

    I really like the place. It was a clean place biger that expected and showed in the pictyres. the location was really nice close to Aldi, close to the lake, and if you travel with the car it was really good for traveling to Zurich, Liochtenstine. at a fration of the places located in Switzerland and Lichtenstine. A really good choice for a small winter holiday family trip. Also good to travel to Lichtenstine sky pass. (1.5/ 2h drive). The lake it is really colose, you can also have a lake walck during the afternoon or morning, A lost of people runing, one of the best places to run in the mornings or afternoons. :) I have only good things to say for this place. I do not have one bad thing to say about this place. from my side it was one of the best experiences and it was more that we expect from this place. I am planing to go back if possible. I defenetley recomand this place.

    Super guest house north of Friedrichshafen. The hosts are super friendly, funny and helpful. My room was just right and plenty of room for myself. Breakfast was fresh and delicious from a good selection of items including fruit. The hotel is served by very regular bus and train services, so if you are without transport it's still very close by. I'd easily stay here again, the welcome alone is worth it. Well done!

    We liked the location of the hotel close to the train and bus station as we arrived by train and were able to access free bus travel with the Bodensee card that was given to us on arrival. The hotel was modern and very clean and the staff were friendly, helpful and cheerful and spoke good English. Breakfast was very good with a great selection to choose from in a bright modern dining room.

    Nice, comfortable, and clean modern room. The location is a bit out of the traditional hotel areas of Friedrichshafen, but it was perfect for the purpose of the journey. Worth keeping in mind if the idea is to stay around the Bodensee and the restaurant/lakeside area. No A/C but a big fan, which was fine, but for light sleepers, the sound could be annoying.

    Hotel is very near public transport (train & buses), so easy to get into the centre of town and back. The breakfast was continental, but more than enough to satisfy anyone. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel also has a restaurant for evening meals which is very good.
