I booked my trip late and the hotels in Stuttgart proper were all booked. This was a great alternative. Easy to get to by car, parking on site, and a comfortable room. The excellent restaurant on site was a very nice bonus!

A very nice double story house. It was very comfortable, especially with a kid. The house has all the menagerie and the supermarket is 5 minutes by car. The property has a parking spot and the car is always visible. If it is a bit cold, there is even a wood stove that can heat the whole house in under 2 hours. Really nice. The owners are very kid and helpful. It is one hour car ride from Triberg and Lichtenstein. We really recommend it.

The Michelin-starred restaurant was amazing. And even though I was a solo traveler and diner, the staff treated me like I was the most important guests there. Everyone was so very friendly and helpful. It is very walkable (and safe) to the train station, and easy to get to Stuttgart and airport, as well as Tübingen. Although Ehningen doesn't have any sights, there is a large meadow across from the hotel for taking walks.
